Featuring subtle palettes and kaleidoscopic styling, Tom Anholt’s paintings intertwine allusion, allegory and fragmented storytelling. The artist’s work—versed in the geometric and figurative vocabularies of movements like the Frankfurt school—often centers the artist’s experience and the accompanying feelings of isolation, both real and feigned. Anholt’s paintings explore memory and identity, plumbing interior depths through the lens of poetic reflection to portray delicate and intimate moments of being.

Tom Anholt was born in Bath, UK in 1987. The artist holds a degree from the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, UK.
