From Lina Sun Park’s sold-out art book, “A Mouse in Her House,” these artworks combine ephemeral materials, textiles, and items of personal significance to evoke a weird and whimsical world where dreams come true. They tell the story of a tiny white mouse who marks her steps with ribbon and crumbs inside a curious and vast house. Scurrying across soft hills of flour and drifting through gentle rivers of velvet, she feasts on roses made of bread and descends slowly along yards of shiny, silky ribbon that dreams of becoming bows.
