Darren Romanelli is a Los Angeles-based artist and designer known for his innovative approach to upcycling and collaboration. Using his collection of vintage denim, textiles, and sportswear sourced from local flea markets and thrift stores, Darren Romanelli created these one-of-a-kind ottomans out of materials that reference everything from tattoos to fine art. He starts by bringing materials into his studio—along with pieces from his personal collection—and they eventually become a handful of ottomans that together create vast stories with patterns and colors that echo throughout the collection.
