Ismael Senties was born in 1992 in CDMC, Mexico, where he lives.

He studied at ENPEG La Esmeralda in Mexico City, MX, industrial design at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico, and furthered his education at the New York Academy of Art, the Centro de las Artes de San Agustín, CENTRO University, and the contemporary art laboratory Espositivo in Madrid, Spain.

In addition to his practice as a painter and designer, he has worked as an art director and gallery curator. He is co-founder and co-director of the artist residency COBERTIZO and the gallery La Nao.
