de boer is a contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles founded in 2020 by David De Boer. de boer represents a diverse roster of artists with an emphasis on a rigorously technical and conceptual studio practice. The gallery hosts solo and group exhibitions, many of which are accompanied by exhibition catalogues published by the gallery. In 2021, the gallery expanded to add additional galleries at its location at 3311 E. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA. Works by the gallery’s artists are featured in numerous public collections, including: The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City; the Museum of Modern Art in New York City; the Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut; the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, Florida; and the Baltimore Museum of Art in Baltimore, Maryland; among others. de boer acknowledges that it is on the traditional land of the Chumash Peoples past and present, and honors with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations.
