Pol Anglada discovered his passion for drawing through his father’s old comics, eventually discovering the homoerotic work of Tom of Finland in his teens. After moving to Paris to pursue a career in fashion, Anglada began making illustrations across various media, eventually collaborating with fashion brands, musicians, and publications.

Pol Anglada

Pol Anglada discovered his passion for drawing through his father’s old comics, immersing himself in the styles of Milo Manra, Tanino Liberatore, and Enki Bilal. In his teens, he discovered the work of Tom of Finland and various other homoerotic illustrations. He moved to Paris to pursue a career in fashion while continuing his illustration in his spare time. Anglada’s illustrations appeared across a variety of media. He collaborated on capsule collections and prints with fashion brands such as Moncler, JW Anderson, Phipps, and Ami and worked with musicians such as Bad Gyal and John Carroll Kirby. He has created artwork for magazines such as Gay Letter, Butt, Têtu, Kink, and more.

Pol Anglada was born in 1991 in Spain near the Catalan Pyrenees.

He mounted his first exhibition at The Hole in Los Angeles, CA (2022), followed by a show at the Tom of Finland Art & Culture Festival in London, UK (2022).

In 2016, Anglada founded FreeTime, a brand dedicated to celebrating spare time, with the Parisian studio Faye and Gina, presenting zines, screen prints, and shirts annually at the Paris Ass Book Fair, a leading Queer zine festival.
