Nils Jendri sees the act of painting as a deceleration against the so-called digital age. His choice of working tools directly interacts with digitally staged surfaces. Through the use of spray paint, Jendri reappropriates or "brings back" urban spaces, billboards, or posters into the private space of easel painting.
