The artist spent her formative years living in several states, including Texas, California, and Pennsylvania, with each location creating a split in her identity. Building upon internal and external observations in disparate environments and social groups, Thunder uses her work to reflect on our shared collective drive to seek purpose, passion, and fulfillment.
Marika Thunder was born in 1998 in New York City where she currently lives and works.
