Details:
① Artwork:
Ink-dipped wings
This kaleidoscopic painting features marvelously intricate accretions of color—echoing the fabrics of the artist's native Peru. The psychedelic symmetry of this composition operates as a way to guide the viewer’s eye through the work, rather than as an end to itself. The artist builds her work organically, brushstroke by brushstroke; each mark is a reaction to the one before it, often pulling remnants of color left behind from the previous line.
Specs:
Please note the delicate nature of the gouache on this work on paper. The piece should be handled with care/gloves before being framed.
