Isabel Rower (b. 1998, New York) studied Furniture Design at RISD, Providence, RI. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Working primarily with pigmented clay, Rower’s practice blurs conventional boundaries between functionality and adornment. The work swings from sculptural and formalist to whimsical and pragmatic.

Recent exhibitions include: Galerie Sardine, Marta Gallery (2024) & Alcove Milano (2023). Her work was showcased at the Hammer Museum (2022), and was recently acquired by SFMoMA. 

In 2024, Rower was featured in The Dwell 24 and The Wallpaper 400. Her work has also been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Dezeen, and Architectural Digest.
